Bill Harrison
BOARD MEMBER
Bill has dedicated most of his career to the Richmond nonprofit
community, beginning as Development Director of the Fan Free Clinic (now Health Brigade)
during the height of the HIV epidemic. He was the Director of Government and Community
Affairs for the American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter for 17 years and retired in 2021
after ten years as Executive Director of Diversity Richmond. He is a lover of history (particularly
Richmond’s rich and diverse history) and a lifetime advocate for social justice.
Bill feels that serving on the board of such a meaningful project as the Moore Street School
Foundation is an honor, and he looks forward to seeing this historical, beautiful building
preserved, renovated and once again a viable part in the life of our city.
